Assalamu'alaikum,
Al-hamdulillah :) Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala) has blessed us to live and greet another Ramadan and that's a blessing from Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala).
Let's start with today's tip: The Power of Intentions
As we all know, it is recommended that for each night of Ramadan, we're asked to make the niyyah (intention) to fast the next day (even though there are opinions that says one can make the intention to fast the entire month and it'll suffice) but without going into the scholarly differences, my message today is about harnessing the power of intentions in Ramadan to help us become productive.
Compare the following two persons who both make intentions the night before:
Person A: Simply makes intentions that he'll fast the next day.
Person B: Makes the intention that she'll fast + read Quran for an hour + give charity to a specific organisation + carry out certain duties for her community.
Who do you think will have a more productive day the next day? Person A? or Person B?
Let me know your answers and why by tonight!
Sincerely,
Abu Productive
